In the content of this document, the following terms used in uppercase will have, unless otherwise indicated by the context, the meanings specified below:
Definitions
- SITE: represents the web portal owned by HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL located at honest.ro, through which the USER has access to information about products marketed by HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL.
- USER: represents the person who accesses the SITE, for private or professional purposes, and who has accepted the Terms of Use of this SITE, fulfilling all the requirements of the registration process.
- CLIENT: represents the firm, company, or other legal entity that accesses the SITE, for private or professional purposes, initiates and completes an order, and who has accepted the Terms of Use of this SITE, fulfilling all the requirements of the registration process.
- ABUSIVE USE: represents the use of the SITE in a manner contrary to the practice in the field, regulations, and current legislation, or in any other way that can cause harm to HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL.
- ORDER: represents an electronic document, generated as a result of accessing the SITE by a CLIENT, serving as a form of communication between HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL and the CLIENT.
- CONTRACT: represents an ORDER confirmed by HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL, by which HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL agrees to deliver products and services to the CLIENT, and the CLIENT agrees to make the payment for them.
- SPECIFICATIONS: all specifications and/or descriptions of goods as specified in the ORDER.

The USERS/CLIENTS of this SITE are asked to read carefully the following terms and conditions of use. The following terms and conditions are considered to constitute minimum applicable provisions, the use of the SITE being subject to the general provisions of the current legislation. The terms and conditions of use can be modified at any time by updating this SITE, these changes becoming mandatory with immediate effect for all USERS/CLIENTS. By accessing the SITE, USERS consent to respect the terms and conditions presented below as well as the applicable legislation.
Content of the SITE
The information published on the SITE is about the products marketed by HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL, as well as other information considered to be of interest to USERS.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL makes continuous efforts to maintain the accuracy of the information displayed on the SITE.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL owns all copyright over the SITE, including the design and content, as well as all registered trademarks in the name of HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL and published on the SITE. Unauthorized use without the written consent of HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL is punishable under current laws.
Limitation of Liability
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL states that the product images are for informational purposes only, products are presented on the SITE as examples, and the delivered products may differ from the images in any way due to the differences that may occur between the product photography and their physical, real appearance.
Due to space constraints and coherence of information structure, product descriptions may sometimes be incomplete, but HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL makes efforts to present the most relevant information.
All products presented on the SITE are available within the limit of the existing physical stock.
In the event that the stock has been exhausted, the representative of HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL will offer alternatives by presenting other products similar in characteristics, technical specifications, and appearance to the ordered product.
The promotions/offers presented on the SITE are valid within the limits of the available stock.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL reserves the right to modify, supplement, or delete any information on the SITE.
Prices, offers, stock status, specifications, and images can be changed without prior notice.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL is not liable for damages caused by the SITE's malfunctioning.
If prices or other product details have been erroneously entered into the database, HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL reserves the right to cancel deliveries of these products if they have not yet been executed and to immediately inform customers about this error.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL reserves the right to select its customers, to refuse collaboration with customers who exhibit inappropriate behavior and language, or have a history of refused deliveries.
Confidentiality of Information
The information provided to HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL is confidential and is used only for the purpose for which it was entered, namely, executing orders, commercial communication. HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL does not provide your email address to third parties, does not encourage spam, and does not make public the data provided by its customers without their explicit consent.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL commits not to transmit personal data of site users to third parties and to use them only for the purpose of establishing contact with its customers, as well as informing them about aspects related to the operation of the site, offers, and the company's policy.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL does not encourage SPAM, does not provide your contact data to third parties (individuals or legal entities), does not sell, offer, exchange email addresses obtained through this site, does not disclose your email address to other people accessing the pages of this site, without your explicit consent.
Any user who has explicitly provided their email address on the honest.ro SITE may opt to have it deleted from the honest.ro database.
On the honest.ro SITE, the USER is responsible for all activities that occur through accessing their account and personal password. HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL cannot be held responsible for errors resulting from the USER's negligence regarding the security and confidentiality of their account and password.
Right of Withdrawal / Cancellation of Purchase
You can request the return of products within 3 days of delivery only in the following cases:
- The delivered product does not match the specifications on the site. You can request its return for replacement or a full refund of the cost (if the product is no longer available);
- Non-functional product within the first 48 hours (2 working days) of receipt. If the purchased product was delivered non-functional or has manufacturing defects, it will be replaced with a functional product, following a written notification or by presenting at the office within 48 hours of receiving the product;
- Incorrectly delivered products. In case a different product than the one ordered was delivered;
- Product in a damaged parcel. For products whose parcels show visible damage upon courier delivery, we recommend refusing their reception. For evidence, the parcel can be photographed, and a report can be made with the courier company's representative, mentioning the condition of the parcel at the time of delivery. The risk of loss or damage to the products is entirely transferred to you at the moment you physically take possession of the product. Any subsequent complaint will not be considered. If a carrier appointed by the consumer is used, the risk is transferred at the moment of delivery of the products to the carrier.
HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL will refund the order value as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from the receipt of the returned product. The refunded amount and the return conditions do not include transport expenses.
Refunds will only be made by bank transfer, regardless of the initial payment method.
The returned product must be in the same condition as it was delivered (in the original packaging with all accessories, intact labels, and documents that accompanied it). Products that show physical modifications, hits, chips, scratches, shocks, signs of excessive use, and/or unauthorized interventions etc., are not accepted for return.
The consumer is only responsible for the diminished value of the products resulting from their handling, different from what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products. In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, point (47) of the presentation: to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, the consumer should handle and inspect them in the same way as they would be allowed to do in a store.
The return costs for the situations presented above (but not in the case of cancellation of purchase) are the responsibility of HONEST GENERAL TRADING SRL.
The following categories of products can only be returned if they are sealed/ the box is unopened/ the box does not show signs inside that it has been opened:
- products made according to specifications presented by the consumer or clearly personalized
- products that are prone to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- unsealed consumable products related to any category of products in the offer
- products that are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other elements
These exceptions apply in accordance with Art. 16 of O.U.G. 34/2014.
Also, the following will not be returnable:
- Products that were ordered on "Special Order" (SPECIAL ORDER is defined as the list of products ordered by the Consumer and which are not in the usual stock of the Supplier but can be delivered based on a firm order and the payment of an advance, under the terms agreed by the parties.)
- Amounts collected for Services (transport, handling, packaging, testing, assembly, or any other service listed in the Services category provided to the consumer);
